Fibre
Our kapok fibres are grown in Indonesia. Kapok fibres are natural, silky fibres derived from the seed pods of the kapok tree. Kapok floss is hydrophobic and lighter than cotton. A feature of kapok fabric is the presence of small kapok seeds, seen as brown flecks in the material. Harvested from fast-growing, low-input trees without the use of fertilizers or pesticides, kapok fibres are environmentally friendly.
Our cotton is grown in Brazil.
Fabric
A quilted fabric featuring a coarsely woven cotton and kapok surface. Woven with thicker threads in a plain weave, it offers a very soft, cosy quality that’s perfect for both comfort and style.
Factory
This style is made by our Chinese supplier, who specialises in producing fabric and clothing using kapok fibres. Their expertise in working with natural materials ensures both comfort and sustainability in every piece.
