We chose to work with Épice, the pioneering brand of premium scarves and bags by Danish designers Bess Nielsen and Jan Machenhauer, because of its rigorous selection of the finest quality natural fabrics and unique use of colour and print. After consideration of the size of the piece, the thread, the colour and the combination of original patterns, the pieces are woven and printed by hand by artisans in India. 100% Cotton

Fabric
Our fine cotton fabric is light, breathable, and soft to the touch. The carefully designed broderie, with fine cotton rope yarn detailing, gives the fabric a three-dimensional feel and a unique character. The fabric is piece-dyed, meaning it is dyed after weaving or knitting, creating a solid colour throughout.
Factory
The garments are made by our supplier in a well-managed high-tech facility located in China. We have worked with this supplier since 2019.
