Velvet is a soft pile fabric with a distinctive appearance and a rich, luxurious feel. It is woven on a specialised loom that creates a dense, raised pile across the surface. Compared with traditional silk velvet, cotton velvet is more durable and practical, while retaining the fabric’s characteristic softness and beautifully smooth, lustrous texture.
Factory
We have been working with our partners based in China to develop this fabric all the way from the yarn to the finished product. We have been working with Cong and Sunny since 2014 and they have been specializing in linen textiles for generations. Their innovation and impeccable quality mean we can bring our ideas to life and develop special woven fabrics using all-natural fibres.
