Our cotton is grown in the USA. The flax used to make our linen is grown in France, where the flax plant needs minimal water, energy, pesticides, and fertilisers to grow, making it one of the most naturally sustainable fibres.
Fabric
Our woven cotton and linen fabric combines the durability of linen with the softness of cotton, resulting in a material that is both breathable and comfortable. Indigo-dyed warp threads intersect with ecru threads in the weft, creating a fine, textured stripe pattern. The uneven colour of the indigo-dyed yarns adds a natural, artisanal depth and character to the fabric.
Factory
The garments are made in Portugal by our supplier with whom we have worked for almost 10 years. Carla is always forthcoming and expert in her field, always a pleasure to work with.
