Fibre
The flax used to make our linen is grown in France, where the flax plant needs minimal water, energy, pesticides, and fertilisers to grow, making it one of the most naturally sustainable fibres.
Our cotton has been grown in Brazil and processed and spun in China.
Fabric
Our cotton and linen crinkle fabric is created by overtwisting fine yarns before they are woven. This creates lovely subtly textured fabric. The fabric is piece dyed which means dyed after weaving or knitting the fabric, this creates a solid colouring throughout the fabric. Our garments are pre-washed for a relaxed and laundered appearance.
Factory
The garments are made by our supplier in a well-managed high-tech facility located in China. We have worked with this supplier since 2019.
