Mesh-sleeve sweater

Our organic cotton and alpaca blend knits create lovely warm and cosy winter jumpers and cardigans. One of our favourite yarns- alpaca blend works perfectly with organic cotton. The cotton gives the fabric structure and alpaca the warmth and softness.

The alpaca fibres are responsibly grown in Peru where also the spinning and dyeing of the yarn happens. To ensure the structural stability and durability of the yarn, a polyamide fibre is used. We aim to avoid synthetic fibres in our collections, but in this occasion it is to give the alpaca yarn structural stability and the best possible quality.
Organic cotton is grown in India and spun in China and has been GOTs certified until the spinning stage. GOTS is the leading standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria and is backed up by independent third-party certification.
After the yarns are dyed and spun, each panel is knitted to the shape of the garment which ensures good detailing and creates less wastage. Panels and trims are attached together, resulting in a premium, high-quality garment.

The garments are expertly crafted by one of our longest standing suppliers, a small knitter based in China.We have enjoyed working with owner Robert and his dedicated team, Ann and Carmen, for over 20 years.
