Beautiful cardi - generously cut under the arms...
I loved this in the catalogue and I am very pleased with it on. The colour is just as in the picture and the long sleeve & textured weave is perfect. I was unsure which size to get, as I vary between size 12 & 14 (bigger at the bottom!) and from the description I thought it might be cut small to be tighter fitting... but it is not! The size 12 was fine. My only quibbles are that it is a bit baggy below the arms, the sleeves could be set in further. Combined with the heavy, slinky fabric and the open collar, it tends to slip off the shoulders & look saggy - not the required effect! And the buttons - just clear plastic balls cut in facets. They actually look a bit cheap & tatty to me, so I will be cutting them off & replacing with some pretty shell buttons. Overall - I am still very pleased I bought it, but i think (especially for the price) it could be improved.

Bags under arms
Beautiful texture, but weird fit: the jacket is inexplicably cut extra-wide just under the arms. Not batwing or dolman styling, just... baggy, and weird, and unflattering.
